This Privacy Policy describes how Shop on Maps LLC ("Shop on Maps," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with https://shoponmaps.com and the services we provide to independent United States HVAC and plumbing shops (the "Services").

We serve businesses, not consumers shopping for HVAC work. This policy applies to information about shop owners, contacts, and related business accounts who visit our site, subscribe, or grant us Google Business Profile access.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

We collect:

• Shop name and contact name
• Email address
• Phone number
• City
• Google Maps URL
• Photos the shop sends us
• Google Business Profile listing data that is accessible to a Manager account, after the shop invites us as Manager at hello@shoponmaps.com
• Billing email
• Stripe transaction IDs
• Emails we send and receive

Stripe processes card payments. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe may collect payment-method details under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your Google password.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Deliver the Services (weekly posts, review replies, and the monthly one-pager)
• Bill and collect subscription fees
• Onboard shops and confirm Google Business Profile Manager access
• Quality-check posts, replies, and reports
• Communicate about the account, billing, access, and the Services
• Comply with law, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our rights
• Improve the Services

4. How We Share Information

We share information with processors that help us run the business:

• Stripe, to process payments
• Google, for Workspace email and Google Business Profile (including Manager access you grant)
• Netlify, to host the website

We do not sell personal information.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect Shop on Maps LLC, our clients, or the public.

Google reviews are public on Google. We do not control Google's copies, display, or retention of reviews, posts, or listing data.

5. Retention

We keep information while the shop is subscribed and as needed afterward for books and records, billing disputes, chargebacks, legal holds, and legal compliance. We may delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it for those purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.

7. Privacy Rights

The Services are offered to businesses. We do not believe we meet the thresholds that would require us to operate a Florida Digital Bill of Rights or CCPA consumer-rights program. If a privacy law gives you a right we are required to honor, email hello@shoponmaps.com.

8. Children

The Services and this site are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting the revised policy on this page. The updated policy is effective when posted, unless a later date is stated.
